Industry & Cluster Development
Very few communities the size of Fuquay-Varina can boast of such an impressive base of existing industry. The Town is home to over 1,800 small, medium and large companies. The corporate headquarters of Fidelity Bank, Bob Barker Company, Patriot State Bank, Southbend, Apex Instruments and InServe Corporation are located within our town limits, as are the major manufacturing facilities for John Deere Turf Care and Tyco Electronics Power Management.
Collaborating with our regional economic development partners such as the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, Wake County Economic Development and the NC Department of Commerce, the FVEDC continues to link regional industry and businesses together. Through collaboration, these economic development groups will develop and grow Fuquay-Varina’s business community because of our rich resources provided via the Triangle Region's specialized amenities and support services that are available to businesses.
